Re-orienting the chessboard away from strategy & opposition towards chance & collaboration.

An experimental publication developed from an activity in one of my workshops where dice are used to plot points on a grid, combined with an 8x8 chessboard grid.

Participants rolled the dice to mark 16 positions on a grid. These positions were then printed and paired up with another at random to result in a random pattern.
